Welcome to O’Dowd’s Seafood Bar
O’Dowds Bar has a special traditional pub atmosphere which has remained unchanged for decades. The bar is small & intimate with its traditional turf fire & beautiful views over Roundstone Harbour & the Twelve Bens. You can watch the fishermen unload their catch or just relax in the calm tranquility overlooking Roundstone Bay. Our friendly local staff will be delighted to answer any questions the visitor may have in relation to what to see and do in the area.
Breakfast is available in the bar from 10am to noon and our full bar menu is available from noon till 9pm (9.30pm in summer). We now have a range of excellent Irish Craft Beers and over twenty different premium Irish Whiskeys for you to sample.

The Seafood Restaurant at O’Dowd’s
Our restaurant menu is served from 5 to 9.30pm every day, seven days a week, winter and summer, only closing on Christmas Day. Reservations are advisable in the summer months or during holiday periods. Gratuity is at the customer’s discretion. Special dietary needs are catered for. We have gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian dishes. If you have a particular dietary need we would be delighted to answer any questions, please email or phone us direct with your query.

O’Dowd’s Café
O’Dowd’s Cafe is located next door to the bar and restaurant and is open from March to October. 9am to 9pm. The cafe has an upstairs & downstairs with large windows overlooking Roundstone harbour. Serving a selection of Java Republic Teas and coffees. The cafe also serves breakfasts, pastries, desserts, Soup, Chowder & Sandwiches. All items are available for take-away. Our cafe was especially popular with Monty Hall who was a regular here during the filming of Monty Hall’s great escape which was filmed in the Roundstone area in 2010. Free wifi and internet access available.
